Of course you are definately asking the wrong person here, but my pattern says to start decreasing when you're two inches short of how long you want your sock to end up.
That's a good general rule! I have trouble with making pointy-toed socks, so I almost always rip and reknit my toes for a rounder shape. Show us how yours turn out!
Ver-ry pret-ty! And the two socks worked at the same time is an excellent idea. The 2 inches before the end is a good idea if your toes aren't any longer than 2 inches, don't laugh, you should see my Dad's feet! Measure from the base to the tip of your longest toe and that will tell you where to start decreasing. Great job so far! I'm going for the 2 socks on 2 circs next time too!
Very nice color way...try the sock on and see if it is to the start of the toes. That is the place to stop knitting and start increasing. If not for you try comparing to a sock that person already wears. The two inches is a good rule but everyone's foot is diffrent.
